When you search our files you will be presented with "thumbnails",
the same size as these. By logging in with your username and password
you can access our much larger previews. These are ideal for page
layouts and comps and can later be replaced by our high resolution
scans. To see examples of the preview images click on the three
thumbnails above.
If you are an imaging professional with a commercial use for such
images, we invite you to apply for a password.
The previews are actually "miniatures" of our high resolution
master scans. The slightly stippled effect you can see, particularly
in the sky, is the result of a digital watermark (Digimarc) embedded
into each preview. This precaution against unauthorized use is as
much for the benefit of our paying clients as for ourselves. Digimarced
images are electronically identifiable in print and on the Internet.
