All images are owned by the various photographers who contribute to Australian Scenics. The library in turn manages the reproduction rights of those images. All images are protected by international copyright which makes it illegal to reproduce them anywhere in the world without their owner's, or Australian Scenics' express permission. That includes their use on the Internet. The images on this site are embedded with a Digimarc™, a digital water marking technology used to authenticate the copyright ownership of images in print and on the Internet. This technology is owned by the Digimarc Corporation of Oregon USA. For details go to their website. (www.digimarc.com) Should a breach of copyright be discovered, Australian Scenics will bring proceedings to protect its copyright, and reserve the right to do so without notice. Australian Scenics will seek the destruction of all works containing infringement of its copyright, as well as full damages. The screen resolution preview images on this site are intended only for in house use, typically for placing into page layouts to evaluate their suitability for a particular project. They may not be reproduced in other ways without our permission. When Australian Scenics negotiate the sale of reproduction rights for a particular image, we do so on the basis of specific uses of the image, e.g., in a brochure, a magazine or newspaper advertisement, a poster, billboard, product label, website image, etc. Australian Scenics, on behalf of its contributing photographers, reserves ownership of copyright. Limitations apply to the size of the reproduction, the print runs, the territories where the images will appear and the duration of their appearance. These limitations are detailed in the licensing agreements we enter into with our clients. Any additional uses must be negotiated.
